Chiranjeevi Pandey ("we," "our," or "us") built Retro LCD Watch Face for Wear OS watches. This Privacy Policy explains what the watch face does with the information it shows.
The short version: Retro LCD Watch Face collects nothing. It contains no code of its own, asks for no permissions, makes no internet connections, has no ads or analytics, and we never receive any of your data.
By using Retro LCD Watch Face, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the watch face.
1. How the Watch Face Works
Retro LCD Watch Face is made with Google's Watch Face Format. It is a set of images, fonts and layout instructions; it contains no program code. Your watch's own watch face system draws it and supplies the values it shows.
2. Information the Watch Face Shows
Retro LCD Watch Face does not require an account or sign-in, and does not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Time and date come from your watch's clock.
- Heart rate and step count are read by your watch's system from its sensors and shown on the face. The watch face does not store them, send them anywhere or share them with anyone. If your watch is locked, it may show "--" and 0 instead.
- Battery level comes from your watch.
Your Colour Choice
The colour theme you pick is saved by your watch's watch face system, on your watch. If backup is turned on for your watch, Wear OS may include this setting in your Google account backup. That backup is run by Google under your Google account settings, not by us, and we cannot access it.
Support Requests
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you.
3. How We Use Information
We do not receive any information from the watch face. Support emails are used only to answer you.
We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers, show ads, or use it for advertising or tracking.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Play — download and updates. Google Privacy Policy
- Wear OS — your watch's system draws the face and reads its sensors under the watch maker's and Google's policies.
Retro LCD Watch Face contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
5. Data Retention
We do not hold any data about you. Your colour choice stays on your watch until you change it, remove the watch face or reset the watch. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
6. Data Security
The watch face makes no network connections, so nothing it shows leaves your watch because of it.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Stop using it: pick another watch face, or uninstall Retro LCD Watch Face from your watch or from Google Play.
- Health data: you control heart rate and step tracking in your watch's settings.

8. Children's Privacy
Retro LCD Watch Face is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the watch face changes. If a future version sends any kind of data, we will say so here before that version is released. We will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised policy at https://nepali-indie-dev.github.io/retro-lcd/privacy-policy.html.
