Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using GPS Simulator ("the App"), operated by Chiranjeevi Pandey ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing or using GPS Simulator, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GPS Simulator, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and agree to comply with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. What the App Does

GPS Simulator lets you set a simulated device location, or play a route at a chosen speed, using Android's mock location feature. You must enable Developer Options and select GPS Simulator as the mock location app yourself. While a simulation runs, other apps on your device receive the simulated location.

Android marks simulated locations as mock locations, and GPS Simulator does not hide or disguise them. Many apps detect mock locations and may refuse to work, reject the location, or act on their own rules. We do not guarantee that any app will accept a simulated location.

3. Acceptable Use

GPS Simulator is intended for testing location-based apps, demonstrations, development, and other lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for how you use simulated locations. You agree not to use GPS Simulator to:

  • Commit fraud, or misrepresent your location to an employer, school, insurer, government body, or anyone relying on it;
  • Break the law, or the terms of service of another app, game or service;
  • Harass, stalk or deceive other people;
  • Interfere with emergency services or safety systems.

Accounts in other apps or games may be suspended or banned if those services detect simulated locations. We are not responsible for any action another service takes against you.

4. Safety

Stop any simulation before you rely on your device's location for navigation, emergency calls, location sharing, or safety features. While a simulation runs, apps on your device may show a location that is not where you are. Use the stop control in the app or its notification, and remove GPS Simulator as the mock location app in Developer Options when you no longer need it.

5. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GPS Simulator on Android devices you own or control, subject to these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, modify or distribute the App;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where the law allows it;
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell or sublicense the App;
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App.

6. Your Content

You keep all rights to the routes you draw and the GPX or KML files you import. They stay on your device, and we claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for having the right to use any file you import.

7. Free Trial and Lifetime Unlock

Free Trial

  • When you first open GPS Simulator, you get 1 day of full access free. The trial is tracked on your device.
  • The trial is free and does not turn into a paid purchase. When it ends, you can keep browsing the map and your library; starting a simulation or importing a route requires the lifetime unlock.

Lifetime Unlock

  • The lifetime unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews.
  • It unlocks all current features of the App for the Google account that bought it, on any device signed in to that account. Restore it from the App's Settings.
  • Prices are shown in your local currency by Google Play and may change for future buyers. A price change never affects a purchase you already made.
  • Features may change or be removed over time as the App or Android changes. The lifetime unlock covers the App while it is available on Google Play; it is not a promise to support every future Android version.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Google Play. You can request a refund through Google Play under its refund policy (Google Play refunds). If you are outside Google Play's self-service window, email us at sublimecoder247@gmail.com and we will review your request.

8. Third-Party Services

The map in GPS Simulator is provided by Google Maps. Your use of the map is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Purchases are handled by Google Play and RevenueCat. How we and these services handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

GPS Simulator, including its design, code, features and branding, is owned by Chiranjeevi Pandey and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Google Maps and other third-party names are the property of their respective owners.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your license if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Acceptable Use, Disclaimer, and Limitation of Liability) survive.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

GPS SIMULATOR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that simulated locations will be accurate or accepted by other apps, or that map or place search results are correct.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHIRANJEEVI PANDEY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, ACCOUNT SUSPENSIONS IN OTHER SERVICES, OR CONSEQUENCES OF RELYING ON A SIMULATED LOCATION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF GPS SIMULATOR.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nepal, unless the consumer protection laws of your country give you the right to bring a claim where you live.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the App changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised Terms at https://nepali-indie-dev.github.io/gps-simulator/terms-of-service.html. Continued use of GPS Simulator after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
